Welcome to Batu Caves!
Batu Caves is located in the Gombak area of Selangor, Malaysia and not too far away from the Zoo Negara. There is a Light Rail Transit which actually stops at the Batu Caves which makes it very convenient for tourists living in the city center.

Lord Murugan
The statue of Lord Murugan stands 42.7 m (140 ft) high which is the world’s tallest statue of Murugan, a Hindu deity, located at the bottom of Batu Caves.

Right next to the Lord Murugan statue, you will encounter this colorful temple which stretch almost the length of a tennis court.

I have put together a quick video of my journey from the bottom of the steps to the inside of the caves.
After climbing up 272 steps, there are more steps to climb down and up before reaching the farthest end of the cave. At the end of this part of the cave, there is another shrine all lit up from the natural lighting above.

My mum and a friendly dog she found climbing up the stairs with his owner. oh by the way, my mum is 74 years old and she made it to top before some of the young kids.

Lifting weights? perhaps with your head? This gentleman carried the items on top of his head all 272 steps.

WOOOOOWW!!! Your pictures look amazing!!! I must go there in one of my next trips!
