My trip to the world’s tallest twin tower in Malaysia.
I was fortunate to be able to visit the Petronas Towers, also known as the Petronas Twin Towers, which are twin skyscrapers in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The construction began in 1993 and between 1998 to 2004, it was the tallest buildings in the world from 1998 to 2004 until they were surpassed by Taipei 101.
It still remains the world’s tallest twin tower up to date.
I have put together a short video of the trip from the LRT (Light Rail Transit) train near my parents house to the Petronas Twin Tower. The journey consist of buying the train ticket or in my case, a Touch-N-Go card. Hop on the nice fully air-conditioned train and enjoy the great scenic view of Kuala Lumpur. When you reach your stop, you will navigate through a maze inside the Mall before you get to the ticketing office.
As for getting your ticket to the tower, I would recommend that you purchase your ticket online at the Petronas Twin Towers website prior to you getting to the tower. There is usually a line to get to the tower and the earlier slots are usually sold out.
Once you are inside, head to the check-in area and then they will present you with an orientation of the tour. After that, you just have to wait for your group to get on the elevator and then enjoy the tour.
Enjoy my video…
